# My Study Mate vs CamSolve

The clearest difference is review sentiment: CamSolve at 100% against My Study Mate's 67%. My Study Mate's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Study Mate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and CamSolve sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Study Mate holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Study Mate has 385 ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of My Study Mate's written reviews are positive against 100% of CamSolve's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Study Mate ships an update every 3 days, CamSolve monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
