# Pickleball Drills vs Pickleball Pal

The clearest difference is monetization model: Pickleball Pal at freemium against Pickleball Drills's subscription. Pickleball Pal also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs every 6 days). Pickleball Drills's advantage is ratings volume (303 vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0.2 vs 26.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pickleball Drills sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and Pickleball Pal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pickleball Pal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pickleball Drills has 303 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
