# AI Language Tutor vs Talksy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Talksy at 80% against AI Language Tutor's 50%. Talksy also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). AI Language Tutor's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (61 vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Language Tutor sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Talksy sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $40.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Language Tutor holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Language Tutor has 61 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of AI Language Tutor's written reviews are positive against 80% of Talksy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Language Tutor ships an update every 3 weeks, Talksy monthly. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
