# AI Language Tutor vs Fluently

The clearest difference is rating: Fluently at 5.0 against AI Language Tutor's 4.5. Fluently also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). AI Language Tutor's advantage is ratings volume (62 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Language Tutor sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Fluently sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fluently holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Language Tutor has 62 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AI Language Tutor ships an update fortnightly, Fluently every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
