# Loadbase vs Zippy ELD

The clearest difference is rating: Loadbase at 5.0 against Zippy ELD's 2.0. Loadbase also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). Zippy ELD's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Loadbase holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Loadbase has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Loadbase ships an update every 9 days, Zippy ELD monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
