# Knicks Time vs Gotham Sports

The clearest difference is rating: Knicks Time at 5.0 against Gotham Sports's 4.1. Knicks Time also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Gotham Sports's advantage is ratings volume (9K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gotham Sports sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Knicks Time asks for nothing beyond the download.

Knicks Time holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gotham Sports has 9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Knicks Time ships an update every 3 months, Gotham Sports every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
