# JAP.LV vs ProHelp

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProHelp at every 3 weeks against JAP.LV's every 7 months. JAP.LV's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

JAP.LV ships an update every 7 months, ProHelp every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
