# Positive Affirmations vs Doctor Assistant

The clearest difference is rating: Positive Affirmations at 4.7 against Doctor Assistant's 2.6. Positive Affirmations also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (134 vs 5). Doctor Assistant's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and review sentiment (96% vs 69%). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Positive Affirmations sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Doctor Assistant asks for nothing beyond the download.

Positive Affirmations holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Positive Affirmations has 134 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Positive Affirmations's written reviews are positive against 96% of Doctor Assistant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Positive Affirmations ships an update fortnightly, Doctor Assistant every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
