# Standup vs Victory Log

The clearest difference is rating: Victory Log at 4.3 against Standup's 3.0. Victory Log also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). Standup's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Standup sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Victory Log sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Victory Log holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Standup's written reviews are positive against 0% of Victory Log's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Standup ships an update every 3 months, Victory Log monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
