# DrawBuddy vs Easy Draw Animals

The clearest difference is rating: DrawBuddy at 4.4 against Easy Draw Animals's 3.0. DrawBuddy also leads on ratings volume (481 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Easy Draw Animals's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrawBuddy sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Easy Draw Animals sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrawBuddy holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DrawBuddy has 481 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DrawBuddy ships an update every 3 weeks, Easy Draw Animals every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
