# Snap Pro Camera vs Iris Vision

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Iris Vision at none against Snap Pro Camera's 14. Iris Vision also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). Snap Pro Camera's advantage is ratings volume (5.3K vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snap Pro Camera sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days. Iris Vision asks for nothing beyond the download.

Iris Vision holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snap Pro Camera has 5.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Snap Pro Camera ships an update every 10 days, Iris Vision every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
