# CERN Campus vs Raycast

The clearest difference is rating: CERN Campus at 5.0 against Raycast's 4.5. CERN Campus also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). Raycast's advantage is ratings volume (252 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Raycast sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. CERN Campus asks for nothing beyond the download.

CERN Campus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Raycast has 252 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of CERN Campus's written reviews are positive against 54% of Raycast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CERN Campus ships an update every 3 weeks, Raycast every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
