# Recall vs Sphinx

The clearest difference is rating: Sphinx at 5.0 against Recall's 4.5. Sphinx also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks). Recall's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (129 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sphinx sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Recall asks for nothing beyond the download.
