# Strikketeller vs IRIS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IRIS at none against Strikketeller's 1. IRIS also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18). Strikketeller's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strikketeller sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. IRIS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Strikketeller ships an update every 3 weeks, IRIS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
