# Chip City vs JD PIZZA

The clearest difference is update cadence: Chip City at every 3 weeks against JD PIZZA's every 9 months. Chip City also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 38) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). JD PIZZA's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Chip City against 4.9 for JD PIZZA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chip City has 2K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of Chip City's written reviews are positive against 100% of JD PIZZA's.

Chip City ships an update every 3 weeks, JD PIZZA every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
