# Random Wheels vs CovertBox

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Random Wheels at none against CovertBox's 4. Random Wheels also leads on ratings volume (317 vs 10) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 16.0). CovertBox's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CovertBox sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Random Wheels asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Random Wheels against 4.6 for CovertBox. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random Wheels has 317 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two.
