# VueMotion vs Astra Athletic

The clearest difference is monetization model: Astra Athletic at freemium against VueMotion's subscription. Astra Athletic also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). VueMotion's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VueMotion sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per month and Astra Athletic sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for VueMotion against 5.0 for Astra Athletic. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

VueMotion ships an update monthly, Astra Athletic every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
