# RISE vs RiseGuide

The clearest difference is rating: RiseGuide at 4.6 against RISE's 4.0. RiseGuide also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (20K vs 1). RISE's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RiseGuide sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. RISE asks for nothing beyond the download.

RiseGuide holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RiseGuide has 20K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

RISE ships an update every 6 weeks, RiseGuide every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
