# Popsy vs Disturbia

Popsy and Disturbia both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of Popsy's written reviews are positive against 32% of Disturbia's. Popsy also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.1). Disturbia's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Popsy against 4.7 for Disturbia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Disturbia has 894 ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Popsy's written reviews are positive against 32% of Disturbia's.

Popsy ships an update every 4 months, Disturbia every 6 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
