# Mixology vs uForage

The clearest difference is review sentiment: uForage at 75% against Mixology's 7%. uForage also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 17). Mixology's advantage is rating (3.9 vs 2.8) and ratings volume (368 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mixology sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. uForage asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mixology holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mixology has 368 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Mixology's written reviews are positive against 75% of uForage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mixology ships an update fortnightly, uForage every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
