# 放生 vs RC

The clearest difference is ads: RC at none against 放生's shown. RC also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

放生 ships an update every 9 days, RC fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
