# RoQoL vs HappiMod

The clearest difference is rating: RoQoL at 3.4 against HappiMod's 2.5. RoQoL also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoQoL sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and HappiMod sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RoQoL holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoQoL has 719 ratings behind it against 94, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of RoQoL's written reviews are positive against 16% of HappiMod's.

RoQoL ships an update weekly, HappiMod every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
