# momo Diary vs Daily Notes

momo Diary and Daily Notes both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Daily Notes's written reviews are positive against 83% of momo Diary's. momo Diary's advantage is ratings volume (127 vs 14) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. momo Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Daily Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for momo Diary against 4.4 for Daily Notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: momo Diary has 127 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of momo Diary's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daily Notes's.

momo Diary ships an update fortnightly, Daily Notes every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
