The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MakeYaBed at none against Whisper's 5. MakeYaBed also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). Whisper's advantage is ratings volume (410 vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whisper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. MakeYaBed asks for nothing beyond the download.
