# Pixel Pet Widget vs Turtle

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pixel Pet Widget at 76% against Turtle's 20%. Pixel Pet Widget also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.2) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 5). Turtle's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks). Both are free to download. Pixel Pet Widget sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Turtle sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $199.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
