# Whisper vs DoomMath

The clearest difference is rating: Whisper at 4.2 against DoomMath's 1.0. Whisper also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (203 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whisper sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days and DoomMath sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whisper holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Whisper has 203 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
