# SafeShell VPN vs Puff Glide

The clearest difference is price: SafeShell VPN at Free against Puff Glide's $2.99. SafeShell VPN also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.2) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 5). Puff Glide's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (56% vs 39%). On ads there is nothing between them.

SafeShell VPN is free to download; Puff Glide costs $2.99 up front. SafeShell VPN sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Puff Glide asks for nothing beyond the download.

SafeShell VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SafeShell VPN has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of SafeShell VPN's written reviews are positive against 56% of Puff Glide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
