# Bad Birdie vs Roni App

The clearest difference is monetization model: Roni App at free against Bad Birdie's free with in-app purchases. Roni App also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Bad Birdie's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Bad Birdie against 5.0 for Roni App. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bad Birdie has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Bad Birdie ships an update fortnightly, Roni App every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
