# FxM vs SpeakNotes

The clearest difference is ads: FxM at none against SpeakNotes's shown. FxM also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). SpeakNotes's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FxM sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and SpeakNotes sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FxM ships an update every 3 months, SpeakNotes every 5 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
