# StepDay vs Move

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Move at 12.0 against StepDay's 17.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepDay sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Move sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepDay ships an update every 8 days, Move fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
