# Foresight vs PuttView

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PuttView at 81% against Foresight's 38%. Foresight's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PuttView sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Foresight asks for nothing beyond the download.

Foresight holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Foresight has 843 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Foresight's written reviews are positive against 81% of PuttView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Foresight ships an update fortnightly, PuttView every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
