# ShareMe vs MeDrop

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MeDrop at 100% against ShareMe's 41%. MeDrop also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). ShareMe's advantage is ratings volume (116 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShareMe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and MeDrop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MeDrop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ShareMe has 116 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of ShareMe's written reviews are positive against 100% of MeDrop's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
