# CDL Prep vs CDL Prep Test 2026

The clearest difference is ads: CDL Prep Test 2026 at none against CDL Prep's shown. CDL Prep Test 2026 also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). CDL Prep's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 227) and chart position (#171 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Prep sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month and CDL Prep Test 2026 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CDL Prep has 3.2K ratings behind it against 227, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of CDL Prep's written reviews are positive against 100% of CDL Prep Test 2026's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDL Prep ships an update every 3 months, CDL Prep Test 2026 every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
