# Roam Around vs TickKet

The clearest difference is monetization model: Roam Around at free with in-app purchases against TickKet's subscription. Roam Around also leads on ratings volume (205 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). TickKet's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roam Around sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and TickKet sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TickKet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roam Around has 205 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Roam Around ships an update every 2 weeks, TickKet every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
