# SportTrax vs Split Track

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Split Track at 100% against SportTrax's 57%. Split Track also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). SportTrax's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (39 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SportTrax sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Split Track sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Split Track holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SportTrax has 39 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
