# Novel Master vs motonovel

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Novel Master at 68% against motonovel's 6%. Novel Master also leads on rating (3.8 vs 1.3) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). motonovel's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novel Master sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and motonovel sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Novel Master holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Novel Master has 2.7K ratings behind it against 152, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 68% of Novel Master's written reviews are positive against 6% of motonovel's.

Novel Master ships an update weekly, motonovel fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
