# Novel Master vs Y/n

The clearest difference is rating: Y/n at 4.5 against Novel Master's 3.8. Y/n also leads on ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#13 vs #92). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novel Master sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per 7 days and Y/n sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Y/n holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.7K and 5.7K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Novel Master's written reviews are positive against 60% of Y/n's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Novel Master ships an update weekly, Y/n every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
