# Factzz vs Hiver

The clearest difference is monetization model: Hiver at free against Factzz's free with in-app purchases. Hiver also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Factzz against 5.0 for Hiver. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hiver has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Factzz ships an update every 2 weeks, Hiver fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
