# iFTx vs inercom

The clearest difference is price: inercom at Free against iFTx's $1.99. inercom also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 72%). iFTx's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (70 vs 4). On ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

inercom is free to download; iFTx costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iFTx holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFTx has 70 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of iFTx's written reviews are positive against 100% of inercom's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iFTx ships an update every 6 months, inercom every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
