# iFTx vs SOTA Log

The clearest difference is price: SOTA Log at Free against iFTx's $1.99. SOTA Log also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 months). iFTx's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

SOTA Log is free to download; iFTx costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SOTA Log holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iFTx has 70 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
