# AI Chat Pro vs Llamates

The clearest difference is update cadence: Llamates at every 4 days against AI Chat Pro's fortnightly. AI Chat Pro's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Chat Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Llamates sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Chat Pro ships an update fortnightly, Llamates every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
