# Loop vs JoltChat

Loop and JoltChat both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of JoltChat's written reviews are positive against 37% of Loop's. JoltChat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13). Loop's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 10). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Loop sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. JoltChat asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Loop against 4.7 for JoltChat.
