# Timer and Cat vs E

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timer and Cat at weekly against E's fortnightly. Timer and Cat also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer and Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and E sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer and Cat ships an update weekly, E fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
