# CryptoFiles vs PassVault Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: CryptoFiles at fortnightly against PassVault Pro's every 5 weeks. CryptoFiles also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CryptoFiles sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PassVault Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CryptoFiles ships an update fortnightly, PassVault Pro every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on September 21, 2026.
