# Dracoslides vs The GLD Shop

Dracoslides and The GLD Shop both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of The GLD Shop's written reviews are positive against 64% of Dracoslides's. The GLD Shop also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (9K vs 1.8K). Dracoslides's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Dracoslides against 4.9 for The GLD Shop. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The GLD Shop has 9K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 64% of Dracoslides's written reviews are positive against 81% of The GLD Shop's.

Dracoslides ships an update every 2 weeks, The GLD Shop monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
