# GenAI vs It's Chat

The clearest difference is ads: It's Chat at none against GenAI's shown. It's Chat also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 4 weeks). GenAI's advantage is ratings volume (139 vs 4). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GenAI sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and It's Chat sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for GenAI against 4.8 for It's Chat. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GenAI has 139 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

GenAI ships an update every 4 weeks, It's Chat every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
