# Chess Crusade vs Undermine

The clearest difference is ads: Chess Crusade at none against Undermine's shown. Chess Crusade also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Undermine's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chess Crusade sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Undermine sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chess Crusade ships an update every 2 weeks, Undermine every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
