# When vs ZeroZip

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: When at none against ZeroZip's 1. When also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). ZeroZip's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ZeroZip sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. When asks for nothing beyond the download.

When ships an update every 4 days, ZeroZip every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
