# Award Expert vs Mirrorball Picks

The clearest difference is ads: Mirrorball Picks at none against Award Expert's shown. Mirrorball Picks also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). Award Expert's advantage is ratings volume (252 vs 41). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Award Expert sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Mirrorball Picks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Award Expert against 4.8 for Mirrorball Picks. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Award Expert has 252 ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Award Expert's written reviews are positive against 85% of Mirrorball Picks's.

Award Expert ships an update weekly, Mirrorball Picks every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
