# Dare vs Lig

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lig at every 3 months against Dare's every 12 months. Lig also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dare ships an update every 12 months, Lig every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
